Last night we stayed in Los Angeles with the Mendelson/Copans families and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed eating yummy thai food, playing with their beautiful kids, and hanging out in an awesome house with a backyard to die for! It was so good to see them and catch up (since it's been almost a year since the last wedding). They made us feel right at home and were so welcoming, we easily could have been happy just camping out in their driveway for the rest of the trip! After a visit like that one, we find the siren song of California that much harder to resist.
Unfortunately, we were too bamboozled by the ultimate cuteness of the little ones to remember to take any pictures, but I think Jo got a couple, so we'll post them up here if we can get copies from her.
We're about to go into Andersen's in Buellton for some famous split pea soup and milkshakes. Then on to San Luis Obispo and Monterey!
Hi guys! Allen, thanks for calling this afternoon. Still no check. Hope you got in touch with Chase. LOVE the blog. Makes me feel like I'm riding along with you! Looks like a lot of fun! Hope the Split Pea Soup was good. That is one of my favorites! Love you both. Dad tried to post a comment, but he wasn't signed in so it ditched it. I hope this works. I signed in on my gmail account and it seemingly took it. Take care. Love you both. Mom & Dad/Craig and Ann
