Getting Ready

We had a great night last night with some old friends in Whitetop, Virginia at a local jam session there following an awesome day biking the Virginia Creeper Trail (some of us on a tricycle).

Set list:

"Goodnight Moon"-Will Kimbrough
"Harvest Moon"-Neil Young
"Sedona"
"Morning Star"
"Wagon Wheel"-Old Crow Medicine Show

We also enjoyed listening to some old favorites performed by the Whitetop folks.  They are wonderful people and players.  Their set included great covers of "Long Black Train," and "All of the Wagon Tracks Around the Church Are Gone," as well as an original that Mr. Greer wrote for his adorable granddaughter.

We're looking forward to Creeper '10.

    That was an awesome jam up on Whitetop. I did send the posts to the Music on the Mountain blog.

    If I'm in charge on planning, keep your schedule open for Creeper'09.2 and Creeper'09.3 the Holiday edition.
