Leaving Las Vegas

So originally we were going to tell you that we hate Las Vegas, and that Las Vegas is a town that just wants you to suffer and cry.

But then we had dinner last night at Battista's Hole in the Wall, which is an amazing Italian restaurant.  All-you-can-drink wine (apparently we couldn't drink that much since we didn't even finish the first carafe), bread, salads and cappuccinos included with the entrees.  The cappuccinos tasted like pancakes in a plastic mug.  That sounds kind of gross as I reread it, but they were amazing.  I wish they served breakfast.

Then we walked by the Bellagio to see the fountains.  Also amazing.  But I think the fact that in a city of neon and debauchery, the coolest thing we saw was moving water says a lot about how counter our tastes run to what's going on here.  Now we're ready to see some serious water as we approach the Pacific.  More from LA.
